Our vision is to ensure women, children and families are safe, secure, connected and provided with the opportunity and environment to thrive and achieve their aspirations.

Manly Warringah Women’s Resource Centre is a not for profit community-based service for women and vulnerable families, including women and children escaping domestic and family violence.

We provide holistic, integrated services and support to vulnerable women, children, families and communities. We work from a social justice approach to ensure women, children and families have the opportunities, safety, skills and support to enable them to actively participate in social, economic and community life. We ensure access for all community members including Aboriginal and CALD women, children and families.

We provide or ensure access to early intervention and prevention services, parenting support, group work, casework, counselling, crisis support, safe accommodation, child protection and ongoing support in the community. We undertake systemic advocacy in collaboration with our community partners.

The staff and Board of Manly Warringah Women’s Resource Centre are committed to upholding and promoting the principles outlined below. These principles are embedded in our practice, our interactions with one another and in the way we engage and work with our colleagues and the wider community.
